These providers may collect, process, store or secure personal information on our behalf as needed to provide their services, such as contact details, registration and payment information, enrollment records, signed documents, communication records and website activity data. Each provider has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them. Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processors and are not stored on our website.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages (for example, by checking the SMS consent box on our inquiry form), you agree to receive texts related to your inquiry and our services, such as class information, appointment and enrollment reminders, customer support and important studio updates. Promotional texts are sent only if you separately opt in.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You’ll receive one confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or the platforms that deliver our messages, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Student Photos and Media

Photos, videos, audio recordings and other media may be created during classes, camps, performances, competitions, workshops and studio events. As described in our Policies & Fees Handbook and enrollment agreement, Ignite Your Flare may use this media for educational, promotional, marketing, archival and social media purposes, including on our website, social media, advertising, event programs and newsletters.

When we feature students online, such as on our Team Dancers page, we use first names and last initials only and avoid publishing sensitive personal information alongside student media. Parents or guardians may contact us at any time with questions about media use or to update previously provided permissions.

Children’s Privacy

Ignite Your Flare primarily serves children and families. Information about students is provided by a parent or legal guardian. Our website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us without a parent’s involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

Parents or guardians may contact us to review the information associated with their child, request corrections, or request deletion, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, fulfill contracts, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing; we do not.

  • Opt out of texts by replying STOP

Do Not Track

There is no common industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, so our website does not respond to them. We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as described above.

Our website links to third-party websites and services, such as our payment portal, online store, BAND and partner organizations. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, content or security, and we encourage you to review their policies.
